I'm passing this on in case this helps anyone. Can't take credit for this as this was posted on Reddit over a year ago (thank you r/Hasamba). I wanted to create a new thread for this as many have been looking for resolution on this issue.

Below are the procedures I used to for issues with YouTube channels not generating with the v.0.8.x release. Since I've made the change YouTube channels have worked for me ever since.

"the problem is that the creator API has expired, you can fix it with these steps:

1. create your own youtube api key: http://www.wirelesshack.org/how-to-fix-y...i-key.html

2. replace lunatix's api (AIzaSyAnwpqhAmdRShnEHnxLiOUjymHlG4ecE7c) with the new api in 3 files:

    addon_data\settings.xml
    addons\script.pseudotv.live\resources\lib\ChannelList.py
    addons\script.pseudotv.live\resources\settings.xml

3. delete addons\script.pseudotv.live\resources\lib\ChannelList.pyo, it will be recreated"

Additionally as mentioned, I was able to get YouTube channels to generate again by just editing the first file but feel free to edit the others as well.
