Formula 1 season is starting.

You can now watch all videos from the F1 website (https://www.formula1.com/en/video.html) with this Kodi add-on:

I developed it today in about 8 hours, so there may be still some bugs and rough edges. If you have any feedback, please let me know.

So is the F1 content actually DRM-free?
And I'd also like to know in which format, sample rate and bitrate the soundtracks of the streams are. The last time I tried F1TV it sounded like a 1997 Real Player stream but I heard that at least picture quality was significantly improved since that time.

The "Formula 1"-addon (https://github.com/jaylinski/kodi-addon-formula1) uses public videos from the formula1.com website, which seem to be DRM free. I can't speak for the "F1TV"-addon (https://github.com/bbsan2k/plugin.video.f1tv).

Quality is good:

When I open Formula 1 and navigate to Videos, Must-see, 2022: Bloopers and Outtakes, I select it but nothing happens for me.

Am I doing something wrong, please?

I can't reproduce the issue. Which Kodi-version and addon-version do you use?

You can activate debug logging and send me the logs.
Or you could try to change the stream in the addon-settings from HLS to 720p.

Yes, it is still working. No, it doesn't have live races. Only videos from formula1.com.
