[split] SYBU remote app on iPhone
#1
Hi all

I have exactly the same problem. I'm using the SYBU remote app on an iPhone with port 8081. My Kodi (Raspi 3) has a fix IP-address and is connected via WiFi to my home network.
When I start Kodi, no problem to connect and remote control Kodi via my SYBU remote app. If I want to change the volume (for example) after some time when Kodi is playing music, I open the SYBU remote app on my iPhone and it says "Connecting..." but my remote app is not able to connect anymore. I'm 100% sure that Kodi is still connected to the network because the online radio music stream is still playing... This would not be the case if Kodi is not connected anymore...
I checked the log files too, no errors, no warnings.
Could it be that the web server (used to remote control Kodi) on the Kodi somehow stops to listen to the network or somehow enters a sleep mode? Any ideas?

Kind regards

I have split off your post as it has nothing to do with the offical Kore app for Android. Posting in a 2017 thread is also not really helping.

Can you 'ping' from your phone to the Raspi3 device via a terminal session?
Also what OS/software is running Kodi on the RPi3?

Hi
thx for splitting the thread. Didn't notice that the thread was that old...
Haven't tried to open a terminal session or ping Kodi when that happens but I will try next time.
I have Libreelec 9.2.0 installed but just saw that there is a newer version available. I will install this one and see if the problem persists...

Thx and regards
