Switching radio channels from EPG, home screen or between radio channels is now fine. However, when I switch from a running live tv channel directly to a radio channel, the blackish screen is still there.
I have verified this on my LibreElec 9.2.0 box as well as on a clean and fresh install (18.6 Compiled 2020-03-01 on Ubuntu 18.04 via official ppa:team-xbmc/ppa repository).

I can confirm this behavior switching from active Live TV to Radio on Matrix.  It also disables the Shoutcast data.  I suggest you open an issue on git hub with your debug kodi logs.

I have tested the nightlies and  can confirm this worksas expected (Ubuntu 18.04 & IPTV simple).
