Duplicate display

I have my mac set to duplicate displays when an external display is connected, but it doesn't work on Kodi. If I open Kodi on my main display, and then connect a second one, I'd expect Kodi duplicated on both, but it's only on the first one.

It is successfully duplicated in both if I connect the second display before I open Kodi, but this is undesirable to me. I'm looking for a way for it to be duplicated after I've already opened it. Perhaps something on advancedsettings.xml?

"Undesirable"... Hmpf. Like forgetting to attach a trailer to your car when you decide to go on a holiday and have lots more baggage?

Not gonna happen AFAICT, Kodi is not programmed that way. The application initializes via attached monitors/TVs using EDIDs and stuff when you start it, so simply turn on the 2nd monitor and restart Kodi.

Undesirable like I don't want people to see my desktop and have to click with my mouse from the couch when I want to show them a movie :/ which is every day

It's really not ideal at all, but ok then...
