Thanks for fixing the labels, works when making new shortcuts, but still cant change labels on shortcuts that were previously made with 2.1.2. No biggie.

I am able to. What isn't working for you?

Works fine when making new shortcuts with 2.1.3, but any shortcut i previously made with 2.1.2, I cannot edit the label still, like i said, no big deal, just have to readd  shortcuts again if i want to edit the label., or just delete the Title line in the favorite seems to work.

What do you mean by "cannot edit the label"? Is there an error, or does it just not have any effect? I am able to edit shortcut labels, without deleting the 'title' key, and a skin reload shows the changes on a widget.

As a heads up, it appears that "Next Page" isn't working right now, but I'm already tracking it down Wink

EDIT: The 2.1.6 release should fix this Big Grin

Yes, im just saying that the shortcuts that i previously made with 2.12 is not compatible with 2.13 as far as being able to edit the Label, so I was just saying i have to delete them and re-add them with 2.13 to be able to edit the labels. See: https://vimeo.com/444366203

For anyone keeping score, 2.2.0 fixes a handful of straggling bugs from the last few versions, and should also be quite a bit faster during refreshes and such Big Grin

@drinfernoo

Yes Sir, working smooth.

Hoping you find also a fix for the indicated "file size" with shortcuts, e.g. green marked in below pic:

Thanks in advance

Ah, I keep forgetting to look into that... I take it you are adding shortcuts to actual files, and then accessing them via the shortcut group? Are they library items, file items in your video source, or plugin paths?

@drinfernoo

from video source (NAS storage).

Please reproduce it with videofiles > and <  1 GB as shortcuts to a (test-) shortcut group.
Furthermore video files > 1 GB don't play inside shortcut group.

Thank you

I would think that your best course of action would be to actually scan them into the library and use those items in a playlist of their own.

Drinfrnoo, Ok, so in the latest version 2.20, i still noticed that i cannot edit the Label on some shortcuts. BUT, i see the reason. So, i noticed any shortcut that i make from an addon that creates a "Title" line in the shortcut overrides any Label. So if theres a Title set, you cannot click edit label to change it until you click Edit Path/File/ and delete the "Title" infolabel thats set there. Maybe its supposed to be like that, but a bit confusing unless you know what to do. Just pointing it out. Its all good now that i know.

Is it possible to change the name of the widget based on what is being displayed? (I.e. trending, popular). Now the widget is just showing the name of the path and I believe the question I have asked was available in the early days?

Drinfernoo, ok hear me out on this one. Let me know if this makes any sense. Using Xonfluence everything working great. So, i would like to see if this is possible or maybe added in a future update. I made a movie widget group, set the widget as Static style, and no auto refresh. After setting the widget, when the skin first trys to load the widget, AW brings up the dialog box that asks you to choose a path for the widget. Thats great, but what i would like is to have a submenu button called "Choose Widget", that would bring up that same dialog box again and would let you change the widget again on demand. So I would be able to change to the specific widget when i wanted to by hitting the "Choose Widget" submenu button. Can this be possible? Or can you tell me the command to make this "Switch Widget" button to make the Choose Widget box pop up again ?

There isn't a direct shortcut to it, but you can accomplish it by going into "Active Widgets", editing the widget in question, and removing it. When the skin reloads this widget, it'll show the dialog again.
