I am curious about this as well.  I believe some people are using the kodi with Mythtv v31 already, but it would be helpful to know if @janbar has already reviewed the mythtv changes and could confirm whether pvr.mythtv is fully compatible.  I am not in a big hurry to upgrade so I will likely wait to see how other people's experiences go before udpating mythtv.

I just installed v31 and while I havent had time to thoroughly test it, kodi 18 plays recordings and live tv without issue.
