Few weeks ago I decided to build my own media player on top of the OdroidN2 hardware platform. My old DuneHD was obsolete without H265 decoding and with a broken BR-player.
One of the limitations of the OdroidN2 board is the missing digital ouput. Luckily the embedded GPIO connector has SPDIF out. After some research on this forum and the ODroid forum, I decided enhancing mr Droid with a DYI Toslink connector, and integrate it in the Odroid box. Integration in the Odroid was important to me, since I don't want ending up with wires sticking out of the box.
