Is the daily quota limit for this add on ever going to be fixed?

Are you ever going to read the FAQ and Personal API instructions for this addon (that are noted in my signature)?

NB: these are still linked to the old thread but will be transferred to this new thread in the coming days when I have time do so. 

I've read those instructions and tried them but they didn't work.  I'm also using Libreelec, not Android, so having to type in the API keys is also pretty difficult.  I wish there was an easier way to resolve this issue.

I agree it’s difficult, but not impossible, use a keyboard remote like the MX3 or a keyboard. Do once on each box and it works like a dream. Only takes 10/15 minutes max. Inconvenient maybe but wouldn’t class it as an issue, as the benefits of your own api far outway the inconvenience of typing 3 long strings into a Kodi Addon.

Open the settings.xml on a pc using SMB or SCP and paste in the api keys, not very hard.

ive been having issues with youtube on a few devices, all report the same. ive reset youtube and removed all addons and my personal api key. Sometimes plying the video a second time it will play, other times it just wont play butva different video will. playing the same video from Chrome using youtube.com has no issues. bewlow log is an example of a random video in the popular section.

Do a full debug log (wiki) exactly how the wiki says. it may be able to diagnose it further.

Hi,

"watch later" isn´n shown in the addon. is there any problem with that? i´ve tested the last version with kodi 17.6 on raspberry pi (libreelec), ubuntu 16.04 and windows 10. the same on all systems. its enabled in settings but now shown in the main menu. it works perfect with my tv from lg and the webos-addon.

With the version currently on the official repository(5.4.5) you must use a custom watch later playlist. see post #4
With the in development version in post #2 you can get a fully work watch later again by going to Settings - Folders - Retrieve Watch Later playlist id and following the directions. This will populate your Custom Watch Later playlist id with your actual watch later playlist id.

The add-on can only do <= 720p with Kodi 16 or less. In Kodi 17 and 18(nightlies) >720p can be achieved with mpeg-dash by enabling and configuring inputstream.adaptive.

 I have kodi 17 on my fire TV stick (gen 2). how do I enable 1080p there?

@naddel81 YouTube add-on Settings - General - Use MPEG-DASH, then Configure inputstream.adaptive. Then in inputstream adapative settings, set min bandwidth to 10000000. 

@bunter fisch There will likely be another alpha version bump for minors/strings, once ready this will be 5.4.6 for Helix, and 5.5.0 for Isengard+.

@luciferus For help please provide a debug_log (wiki) or at least the version of the add-on, and a video id.
