I ran a search for this but might have missed this. I noticed that when I sort by name in - let's say - Videos, it ends up that all the folders will be sorted alphabetically first, and then the loose files are sorted afterwards.
Would it be possible to provide a toggle-able option to have all items sorted alphabetically?

of course. anything could be possible. you just need someone to code it. and therein lies the problem.

Sort by File will do this.

wow. i just looked at the code and sort by file does this today. this is what i love about xbmc. i learn something new every other day!
