Hi,
can we get the navigation history or the parentpath in some shape or form (infolabel, jsonrpc, python api) in plugins? The info seems to be available as mentioned here https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=353591 by zachmoris it's already logged by kodi but just not exposed.
Coaccidently i tried to achieve something like this a few days before but also failed (https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=353503).
For me personally the reason is i'm working on a plugin to get youtube tv style of related videos in the player window (so a list of videos related to the currently playing one above the seek bar)
and the perfect fallback to get those generically for video plugins would be the parentpath.
Aside from that i could also see how something like upnext could use that to work with all plugins.
