Solved Wrong name of discart / disc.ext instead of discart.ext
#1
Hi,

I am desperately trying to correctly the save name of the discarts.

In the current version 3.1.5 i used, tmm always saves as "disc.png", regardless of which setting in which combination I choose:

<movie filename> -disc.ext
disc.ext
<movie filename> -discart.ext
discart.ext

However, I need "discart.png" that my Kodi Leia accept the discart.

I found that the disc type of all my films were saved with "disc.png" even though discart.png was selected. The new scrabbing of the discarts also brought no change.

Can someone help here?
Thanks a lot.

I've just tested this with a movie at home, bu I could not reproduce that issue. disc.ext AND discart.ext will be written without any problems

Hello everyone.

I have the exact same problem.

IS: moviename-disc.png
SHOULD: moviename-discart.png

The problem seems to be solved if an extra folder is created for each movie.

Only if the movies are all in one folder does the name appear to be incorrect.

yes there are 2 special cases here:

a) if there is more than one movie in the folder filename-disc.ext is automatically chosen
b) if there is a "disc" movie detected (like dvd image, ...) disc.ext is automatically chosen

will adopt this to your preferred settings:

if anything with -disc is in your settings, I will take filename-disc.ext/disc.ext
if anything with -discart is in your settings, I will take filename-discart.ext/discart.ext

My english is not very good, but I think we are talking about different things.
What is meant by "...is automatically chosen" in a) and b).

For example, I have three films in one folder.

- A World Beyond (2015).mkv
- Akte X - Der Film (1998).avi
- The Beach (2000).avi

The following settings in TMM:
Bild

After scraping, the PNG is incorrectly named (...disc.png not discart.png like selected).

The name is only correct after sorting into individual folders / renaming.
The TMM settings remain unchanged.

Bild

Subfolders are created automatically.
Bild

Now the file names are correct too (...discart.png).

But I don't want a separate folder for every movie.
For Kodi I need ... discart.png and not ... disc.png.
