Jester, great job on the builds. I swear I go to bed and wake up and it's like x-mas all over with all the builds devs and you keep cranking out. Oh and congrats on the promotion. Quick question;

Quote:Already post this on other thread, but here it goes... "Adjust refresh rate" makes all my .srt broken (atleast the ones i tested 15/20 movies). As soon as i turn this option off everything works fine, some .mkv subtitles also doesn't show.

This was posted by xbs08, it was from 'Adjust refresh rate' thread. Just curious if anyone is looking into this as it's still an issue.

unfortunately it's stil there, to me this is a very important issue because the adust refresh rate feature (with delayed audio) rules on my tv.

i'm checking out the ticket daily :-) http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/5466

I'm having problems playing ALL videos that have .IDX/.SUB subtitle files associated with them. Most of them take more than a couple seconds to buffer (which is really long!), then the audio starts playing for a couple of seconds, and then XBMC crashes. Renaming the subs to a different filename fixes the problem because XBMC is no longer loading them.

This problem only started happening recently. I did some testing, and it happens with both local files and networked files. The XBMC log from one session is 18MB and reports a MASSIVE error list after:

Quote:21:54:48 T:3944 M:2200444928 NOTICE: Opening Subtitle file: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\XBMC\cache\subtitle.idx
22:01:36 T:816 M:2200334336 NOTICE: running thread: CDVDPlayerAudio:Tonguerocess()

The list looks to be thousands of lines of errors, mainly consisting of the same lines repeated over and over several hundred times, including:

Anybody got any idea what's going on?

I think I found a strange glitch with the svn builds. I did a fresh install of windows today, and installed the Rev16896 build from jester. I set my audio preferences to digital, and DTS was being passed through correctly but AC3 was just being sent as stereo. I tried about 4 other svn builds going back a few days, and it still did the same thing. (I had no problems with the svn builds before I did fresh install of windows) So I installed the 8.10 Atlantis release and AC3 worked correctly, I then installed the Rev16896 build over 8.10, and AC3 still works correctly.

I gotcha Hitcher. Though I meant my post to be more of an observation about the svn builds from at least the last few days that I noticed. I wasn't trying to ask a question.

Jester, the Intel patch has been implemented in 16912 now. No need for any Intel builds after that one :o)
