Solved Kodi not updating video library
#1
Hi all,

I noticed that not every TV show is being updated in my library and don't understand why. I have shows with multiple seasons, but not all are being added, or partially added.
I've tried to clean the library and updating it, without result. I even deleted the db-files and rebuild the library, but this didn't solve the issue.
The files are being renamed in the same format and the folders and files have the same rights.

An example of a TV show is Killing Eve. Only season 1 is added the rest is ignored. Logging says there's no change...

Any idea on how to solve this?

VideoInfoScanner: No NFO file found. Using title search for '/media/media/movies/Arkansas (2020)/2c6e911d06c74af3a6a6703d8587fbb1.mkv'
DEBUG: FindMovie: Searching for '2c6e911d06c74af3a6a6703d8587fbb1' using The Movie Database scraper

In your Set Content page, enable the setting Movies are in separate folders that match the movie title... https://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_video_sources#Set_Content
otherwise there is no such movie as shown in the search above. This affects nearly all your unscraped movies.

BBC Grand Prix - The Killer Years.mp4 should be named Grand Prix - The Killer Years.mp4

As for your tv shows, I could not see the problem as all the shows were skipped by the scanner. So can you delete Killing Eve from your library, enable debug mode again, restart Kodi and scrape Killing Eve and provide that log.

Hi,

Thank you, but removing it from the library and adding it again dit not solve it. I already had deleted the db files in the kodi folder and rebuilt the library. About the movies, I don't really care. It's more the TV shows. Killing Eve was just an example. I have more shows with the same issue.

I've included the new logging. It seems it expects NFO files. As we take the same example, Killing Eve. I have 3 seasons, all in same format, no NFO files at all. Not in the first season, which is added, nor in the other seasons.

Sorry, forgot to restart, thus contains the logging from this morning to...

Thank you! This did the trick! I've also upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04, broken some stuff, but the library is being updated now!
Now fix the rest. Thank you!

The problem was you had Absolute Order set in your scraper settings, but there is no Absolute Order for Killing Eve available. This setting would have affected all shows in that Source.

Upgrading to the new PPA simply reset the setting back to Aired Order for you.
