Not in my Settings->System menu.
I only have:
- Sleep idle timeout
- When closing XBMC
With Aeon and PMIII.
I know there was a setting, but it is not there.

I am sorry, but I can't take a screenshot. I don't see the option anywhere in the Settings. And SVN 14631 is not available from the PPAs right now.

I just checked my Settings->System screen with the one in the wiki.
They are totally different. This could explain why I have no switch to enable/disable the debug msg.

Hello, delete the "advancedsettings.xml" file to show the "debug" option in system (work for me on Ubuntu hardy)

Yeh, jahnrik is right, just kill the <loglevel>0</logleveL> from your advancedsettings.xml and the option will show up.

Thanks, that did the trick.
But I commented out the line first, which had no effect.
My only question now is: Bug or feature (hide settings already in advancedsettings.xml?
And problem with the xml parser?
