I have opened 9981 9982 port for remote play (no problem live streaming)

Is port forwarding enabled at the server location?

I used to do this routinely a few years ago (so I could watch UK TV when overseas).  However I now use a VPN solution rather than port forwarding (I know this may not be ideal for streaming video but I've had reasonable success) 

Beware - hackers will exploit open ports and TV Headend to attempt to install scripts that can be run (I've seen this happen) - so ensure your passwords are unlikely to be cracked.

I tried to connect with openvpn, But It still failed to stream recorded file from tvheadend recordings menu.
