Preview Beta for Kodi Nexus & Up:
* Bugs will be present; System instability possible, but unlikely.


What is it?:

• PseudoTV Live transforms your Kodi Library and Sources (Plugins, UPnP, etc...) into a normal broadcast or cable TV emulator, complete with configurable channels. UI Provided by Kodi via IPTV Simple PVR backend.
  

Requirements:

• Kodi Matrix/Nexus+
  
• Local Content ie. Local TV,  Movies and/or Music. already scraped to Kodi's Library.
  
• Willingness to supply debugging logs and constructive feedback.
  
• If you are a  previous "PseudoTV" and/or "PseudoTV Live" user please; suspended any preconceived notions of how this plugin works. It's 100% new development and only resembles the older project in that they both create a Pseudo...TV Experience.
  

 
Beta Tasks:

• Download the preview beta:
  • Method 1: Install Lunatixz Beta repository
    
  • Method 2: Install PseudoTV Live repository
    
  • Method 3: Add https://tinyurl.com/32tjnut4 to Kodi's File Manager.
    * Method 1 is preferred, it allows you access to my other projects and updates.
    * PseudoTV Live will be available from Kodis official repository after beta testing.
    * Help with installation
    
  
  
• Configure Settings to your preferences, Verify "Debugging" is enabled under "Advanced". Be sure to also enable debugging in Kodi. https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy
  
• If you're using existing M3U/XMLTV files, please test "Import" in PTVL's settings.
  
• Roughly 30s after creating a channel, your new channels will be available via EPG.
  
• Use Kodi's EPG... Keep track of any issues experienced be it technical or general feedback.

Known issues:
IPTV Simple will require manual configuration due to its new multi-instance feature. Once Kodi's API is updated to support multi-instance the process will be automated (M3U/XMLTV/GENRE paths require configuration).
If you are using a Central file location (recommend) or a client instance of Kodi using network paths, please configure using its given path. The example below uses default paths.

• IPTV-Simple VOD support. Watch any EPG event (Past/Present/Future) directly via "Play Programme" context item.
  
• "Play from here" context menu option queue's channel as a playlist from any starting position.
  
• "More Info" context menu option, displays detailed content information.
  
• Custom Channel grouping & Genre colors.
