Hi All!

Have run into the following issue...

Trying to watch live TV in Kodi 18.7x64 + NPVR add-on 3.3.20 + NPVR backend 5.0.6 (on the same machine) under Win 10 x64 with the latest updates. Backend is configured so that I'm able to watch TV stream in the NPVR client. In the add-on's settings I'm using default settings with either localhost IP or explicit IP of the machine.

Though, in Kodi I can see only list of channels with EPG data, but any attempts to pick up any channel and start playback fail with nearly no visible effects (I can see a Playback sign for the channel chosen in the upper right corner of the add-on window that disappears after few seconds; no actual playback takes place).

I'd appreciate any idea that could provide me a clue for resolving the issue. Currently I'm under impression that there's a sort of incompatibility between add-on (released in the end of May) and backend (released a month later).

As bad luck, haven't managed to find any hints after looking up the forum...

If you have done some channel re-configuration during setup you may need to clear the PVR data in the PVR settings.  Other than that the biggest hint I can give you is in the Forum rules  https://kodi.wiki/view/Forum_rules#Posting   We need to see your default debug logs.

Did you clear the PVR database to make sure you have the correct channels loaded?  The backend is giving a 404 which means we need the NextPVR logs to see why that is happening.  Go to the NextPVR forum and post the zipped NextPVR logs as described here  https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help

Note that this wasn't the debug log but for this particular problem that isn't really needed.

Checking the backend. Just off-topic: I could understand you in wrong way - did you mean the log I provided weren't actually debug log demanded? I used the Kodi Logfile Uploader add-on as per the guide provided... Should I go another route?

It was the correct file but it didn't have debug mode enabled.   See https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file for more info.

it seems I've got a resolution: the main issue appears to be channel's names in national alphabet.
