Scrapper Missing Episodes
#1
I just installed a new copy of 18.6.. In general it appears to be working correctly, except it looks like some of the episodes don't scan properly.

I noticed about half of my episodes for Agents of Shield just don't scan properly. It scanned in seasons 1-3 without issue, but only 1 episode of season 4 scanned and the remaining episodes just don't want to scan. The folder structure (c:\media\tv\Marvels agent of S.H.I.E.L.D\Season04) appears to be correct. I don't see any reason the actual files won't work. They all have the S04E0x in the name which is usually enough for the scrapper. I've deleted all the metadata files from the folder and re-scannned but that didn't help. When I browse to the files via the File Manager in kodi I can play from there without any issues.

I'm guessing I'm missing a lot of episodes for other shows also, but just haven't noticed yet. Any suggestions.

Thread moved to tv show scraper support. The dev section isn't for resolving issues with existing scrapers.

It looks like if I click on each individual file and select scan into library (from media setting) it will work. But when scanning the parent folder it won't recognize each individual episode. Unfortunately it appears to be a significant number of episodes impacted.

ADDON::CScraper::GetEpisodeList: Searching 'http://thetvdb.com/api/1D62F2F90030C444/series/110381/all/en.zip' using The Movie Database scraper (file: 'C:\Users\thoma\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\metadata.tvshows.themoviedb.org', content: 'tvshows', version: '3.5.3')
http://thetvdb.com... using The Movie Database scraper

Ok, two problems...

1. You originally scraped the TV Show using TVDB, but now you are trying to add new episodes using a different scraper- TheMovieDB. That won't work. Either refresh the whole show to use TheMovieDB info, or switch back to TVDB

If you switch back to TVDB, then...

2. You must have an old established library as your <episodeguide> is using the old v1... http://thetvdb.com/api/1D62F2F90030C444/...all/en.zip
The problem is explained in Item 1e here... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=336969

Thanks,

I used to use XBMC\Kodi a couple years ago and did the original scan then. Been using Plex for a while at home. This new set up is for a cottage and needs a simpler stand alone setup and copying my library with old metadata.
