Nothing about your image is current bingie mod. Not just the poster size. Clearlogos far too big, significantly pushing down the spotlight row/plot/additional info. into completely the wrong areas. You’ve altered the spotlight pushing it too much into the black space.

I don’t like it at all but of course it’s whatever makes you happy. I just didn’t want anyone thinking this was something to do with me or a true reflection of what they’d get if they download the mod.

Regarding where to find the values, I can tell you’ve already been in this xml from your picture. The rest is just trial and error or aleast an understanding of what you’re trying to achieve.

What does your spotlight size want to be. What does your image size want to be. If image size is to be bigger that the spotlight area, where does the image sit within the spotlight.

These are all the things you need to consider.

No, i will differ, you cant imagine what i am seeing on screen , it look amazing , size does matter when screen size is big because when i install current update without my personal preference on my laptop everything is just fine i wont need to to change  anything but on my TV , it does need some changes . if i will send you my edited xml and  you install in your setup it will completely look different just  like you are satisfied with current update. Big logo big picture a little congested plot area is fine for me  . so my question is some changes in mode can be satisfactory for every one ?

Never mind leave it . I know nothing about these xml things but only which you pointed out .so guide me for a little zoom effect , you helped me a lot regarding what to change in skin according to my preference .

I think he would like his changes to be added to the mod or to be open to personal requests which you guys have been for the most part. To answer his question No its impossible to please everyone. Some people want an exact Netflix experience some want to improve upon it but whats an improvement to one person is not to another. Best you can do is make something that you like and hope others like it too. kudos to those who can do their own changes to the skins that's what keeps them improving to and evolving.

Like I said, what you're asking isn't that straight forward. "zoom" how? "zoom" where?

 Just so you understand, you're talking about enlarging the image. Do you want the spotlight space to increase with the image  (so it intrudes into the black zone and only cuts off the bottom of the image) or does the spotlight remain as it is. In which case, just the image increases cutting off the image depending on where it sits in the spotlight.  So then the next question is, what do you want to cut  off (i.e. where should the focus be)? Centre - and you'll lose left, right and bottom of image (best option) Left - and you'll lose right and bottom of image. Right, and you'll lose left and bottom of image.



As you can see, this isn't a straight forward request.

Achilles did a perfectly good "zoom" focused on the centre of the image before I changed it to Netflix style full image.  It cuts off a significant portion of the bottom and equal parts of the left and right sides which is the best option. You can copy these values and if you don't have them I can send you them.

How do you still have the Red N on all of your widgets? That should only be showing for the categories widget.

It's just for my own preference since I liked it to have those red N on widgets.

In library widgets, I have 3 lines of plot and in Netflix widgets, that is from the Netflix addon, I`ve got 2 lines. If I select text instead of ClearLogo it`s a bit better but when the movie name is devided into 2 line breaks, the space is getting larger.

Yep. You’re missing the landscape art in Episode View too. I really can’t figure that one out!

That is something you guys added that wasn't in the original Bingie nor is it in Netflix I actually prefer it with out the landscape art on that page but that's just my opinion it looks good but I'm a Netflix purest lol.

Hey can you just replace one of the xml folders with an original Bingie folder to get rid of that landscape art on the episodes page? If so which one?

It’s not the plot. You get a max of 3 lines on home for everything. Add-ons or library it doesn’t matter. You typically only see 2 lines with the Netflix addon because they have nice short plot outlines. You’ll see 3 full lines everywhere else if your plots are too long making it look a bit shit unfortunately.

Anyway, can you tell me what hub you’ve placed the Netflix widgets and anything else you think is relevant.

Just realised, it’s most likely because you have the setting fixed focused widgets in vertical scrolling enabled and then multiple widget layout - probably poster layout with a landscape widget for Categories. Then you’ve added more poster widgets underneath this landscape Widget.

That’s never worked in Bingie. You can only do that with fixed focus widgets in vertical scrolling disabled.

If you want fixed focused vertical scrolling and the landscape Categories widget coupled with poster layout, the landscape widget has to be your last widget. Don’t put anything else underneath.

Is there any way to cache the spotlight widgets locally so that they load nigh instantly? There are times when it feels like a solid minute goes by before the spotlights load. It'd be nice if there was an option to cache that information somehow so it loads quickly.

Easy just point the spotlight to a smart playlist.
