Have updated no issue from base to 1.02 then 1.05 but when I try 1.06 it fails and tells me some of the files needed for the skin are missing. Uninstalled the mod and bingie, but does the same on new install. Back using 1.05 for now....am I missing something when updating?

Can you try uninstalling again and also delete your temp folder in the addons folder and then try again?

All done. Had to reboot my shield after uninstalling everything as just uninstalling and rebooting Kodi didn't work. But now running 1.06. Thanks.

My current setup is latest Kodi 18 with Jellyfin addon and the skin, and everything works fine - widgets on TV Shows, Movies, etc populate fine. The issue I have, is when I choose to play a movie from any movie widgets, Kodi will crash when trying to start the stream. I've tried multiple skins and this is the only skin that I've had this issue with. Strangely, playing those same movies from the Spotlight on either Home or Movies tab works fine. Everything in regarding TV Shows plays fine from any widgets.

Going into the logs, I can see the last few lines when Kodi crashes are always the same:

2020-09-10 23:31:32.706 T:13108  NOTICE: JELLYFIN.objects.actions -> INFO::jellyfin_kodi\objects\actions.py:776  [ play ] kodi_id: 1 media: movie
2020-09-10 23:31:34.206 T:6504 WARNING: CRenderManager::Configure - timeout waiting for configure
2020-09-10 23:31:34.206 T:6504   ERROR: CVideoPlayerVideo::OutputPicture - failed to configure renderer

I've also tried creating a custom view using a custom hub, adding the movie widgets, and the result is the same, yet playing from the spotlight works.

Any ideas? I love the skin, but I'd have to find another one if I can't get movies to work.

Thanks!
@HugoL @AchillesPunks any info about this?
I could provide logs if you need

No clue about Jellyfin at all I’m afraid. Can I see the same log again with it working from Spotlight?

Well I'm using the normal titan bingie not this mod because I can't get this one.. I'm couldn't get the repository to work.. but when I add the widgets and point then to Seren in the tv shows and movies section every time I switch away from tv shows the widgets won't come up anymore it just is writing.. I can take a picture or video when I get home

Don't bother... This forum will halt all support to Kodi devices running any type of video piracy tool(s).
You should know that as you have accepted our forum rules (wiki) when you registered here.

*MOD EDIT*

No support = no support for users/devices using video piracy crap.

No clue about Jellyfin at all I’m afraid. Can I see the same log again with it working from Spotlight?

This one is playing a movie from new content widget in home tab: https://pastebin.com/5vaze2U9

This is the kodi crashlog after hitting play on that movie: https://pastebin.com/5xpjrPbs

This one playing a tv show from same widget: https://pastebin.com/0u23fF3M

This one is playing a movie from recently added in movies tab (estuary skin): https://pastebin.com/8W9ViScx

Sorry about the spotlight but i dont see the play button on mine, im using latest verison of this skin 1.0.6

Edit: @HugoL Here you have the log playing a movie from spotlight. I left the movie playing for 5 minutes without any issue. The only thing ive noticed is that when i hit stop button, a few seconds later it plays again.

This is beyond me I’m afraid. I noticed a few minor bingie errors in your log but the ones I noticed at least should be irrelevant.

Also, your log doesn’t seem to contain the same errors as the the other jellyfin user you quoted.

Now the only bug that bothers me the most is the incorrect display of progress bar within dialog video info in TV Shows hub. In Home it displays accurately. Sad

Well, ill ask on jellyfin forum, but its strange because this only happens with this skin and the original bingie. Its related with widgets for sure and only applies to movies.

Thank you anyways Hugo.

I actually fixed this today for an upcoming update.  But like the dickhead I am, I didn't go here like you did.  I went to includesviewslayoutPoster.xml and includesviewslayoutLandscape.xml and adjusted the fonts.

I also fixed the label overlay on landscape not showing on the landscape widget properly. I don't use these tags/overlays on my widgets so I didn't even notice I'd cocked them up.

I did notice this error

ERROR: NEWADDON Unknown Video Info Key "progress" and I just presumed it wasn't Bingie at first but then I realised it must be related since it doesn't show up in Estuary.  So I googled around and I saw the following thread where the creator of Bingie, Cartman is asking about this error which seems to be related to Skin Helper. Don't know if this is causing the crash though but it might be.

So what is your actual edit here. Can't be bothered to search in the xmls right now. And does it look better than mine? If so, I'll just revert back and do it your way.
