I'm trying to get the full mythtv frontend to work over XBMC. I currently execute mythtv from a python script in XBMC... However once Mythtv loads my remote still navigates the XBMC menu in the background. I have tried killing XBMC first but as seen in this thread I then have issues with sound. Is there a command to make XBMC freeze untill the python script completes or a way to disable the remote (only in xbmc) ?
