Hi,

I have applied the ADB protocol to install. This is the screen copy of Powershell :

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> adb connect 192.168.1.41
connected to 192.168.1.41:5555
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> adb install  "D:\_download-app-Win-android\KODI\kodi-18-7.apk"
protocol failure
- waiting for device -

nothing more happens.

note : for the first ADB connection I have validated ADB for my computer and before I had set the configuration to allow adb installations.

There is no valid other way to install KODI. Previously on another Fire TV (standard previous edition) I had performed successfully a direct installation using the url with android downloader. Currently the URL is not any more given on HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_on_Fire_TV (wiki)

and even it can be got by others means it is too long to be given directly to android downloader.

I don't know what to do. I have tried various test without success.
Why as the device is connected the command "install" :
- leads to "protocol failure"
- after adb tells "waiting for device"
