From what I've understood (correct me if i'm wrong) the chosen audio track (apart from language) is based on amount of channels, and in case of a tie this prioritized list of codecs https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/eb161c...mUtils.cpp.
The problem I have with this is that my receiver doesn't support Dolby TrueHD and my hw/os can't compress the audio to anything other than 2.0. So in the case where a video would include both Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital I would get 2.0 audio, unless I go in and manually change the track.
So what I would like to see is either an option that would take into account what is set as the receiver capabilities in the passthrough section or a fully customizable list.
