mode2006,

great job mate, works fine.

two things i noted are as follows...

first one isnt so important, the tray icon shows "exit remoteXBMC 1.6"

secondly, this one is more important i think... the remote responds VERY slowly on my pc. its a p4 3ghz. button press is registered in approx 2 secs after i press it.

ive tried my serial remote on same pc using winlirc, and runs much faster, so i guess the cpu should be able to handle it.

thanks for your hard work once again,
Dam0

Need to buy a converter cable ?

...or you can hack one end off a USB cable, pry apart the receiver, and solder the usb cable into it. Personally, I have mine hardwired into a USB header on my motherboard. Lots of tutorials...just do a search.
...and that's why god gave us whiskey.
