I have givern the storage permission to kore on my smartphone, but whenever I click 'local files' on kore, it says 'Couldn't read the local storage. Did you give kore permission to access file storage?'

I have the same problem.

Downloading: Kore says it doesn't have permission to create directories. (If I use the file manager to create the full path, Kore is happy to download files into that directory.)

Reading: the files exist but Kore is unable to read them. I get the same error as you suggest above.
