I am looking for someone local in southern California to help me program and tweek KODI to my liking.  Everything I would like is doable I have been told and nothing crazy.  I am just looking for an ease of use kodi player for the family, that the family cant mess up.  I am willing to compensate for this as well.  I can do all the source links and such.  Please contact me further if interested.  I have been playing with KODI for about a month now and am switching from a cloud media popcorn hour.  I  just do not have the experience and mainly time lately to do the customization.

Out of the area will also be an option if no one local is available.

I do understand your predicament; there are commercial 'hardware alternatives', this site is primary support for Kodi media enthusiasts https://kodi.tv/about who enjoy the effort and need a bit of guidance into the flexibility of the program or have run into some hardware incongruity.
