Dear,

I want to use the "Adjust display refresh rate" setting to get movies and TV shows to play smoothly. However when I enable this setting the image I get is in a wrong aspect ratio. There are black bars left and right of the image that is supposed to fill the screen. On screen info during playback shows expected information about resolution and framerate.

I tried several settings and have seen some similar threads but I could not solve the issue. Can anyone help?

Can we perhaps get some detailed tech details?
"Adjust display refresh rate" only works for real TVs, not for PC monitors.
What resolution is this about? What aspect ratio is the video you are playing?
A debug log (wiki) should help too.

Aspect ratios should not be affected by refresh rates.
