Perfect! You rock! Thank you for your help.
I will wait for @pixelrogue test also before submit this file on Cydia.

I opened a pull request here https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/18853 to fix the issue in future Kodi 19 builds.

No problem with your English, I understand you correctly, mine is not perfect neither because I'm French ;-)

On Cydia "Kodi-iOS (32-bit)" should works on jailbroken iPhone 5.
Else, you can find older 32-bit version of Kodi here (install with Filza or iFile or any Terminal with the dpkg -i command) http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/ios/deb/
Use files ending by "arm.deb" and not "arm64.deb". See https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_for_iOS if needed ;-)
Edit: Just tested and you are right "Kodi-iOS (32-bit)" package from Cydia (BigBoss repo) ask for iOS >= 9.0 Undecided
But I am pretty sure that you can install Kodi 18.9 from the deb file and it will works.
I will submit another "Kodi-iOS (32-bit)" package on the BigBoss repo without this iOS limitation (Kodi 18.9 works well on my old iPhone 4 with iOS 7)

Edit2: Forget about my last message Edit, latest Kodi version working for iOS < 9 is Kodi 18.1.
You can manually install it with iFile. Also I will try to submit it on Cydia/Bigboss for old devices with a firmware below iOS 9.

Edit3: After some test, I noticed that the minimum Kodi version working on my iOS 7 device is Kodi 17.6 (http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/darwin/i...os-arm.deb)
I will try to add it to Bigboss repo today so that old devices will not need to do a manual install.

Some good news! You can refresh Cydia! This is what you will get on theBigBoss repo:
  • Kodi-iOS (64-bit) in 18.9-3 version : You can install this version on your iOS 14.2 jailbroken iPad, this version fix the black screen issue for all iOS 14 devices (iPhones and iPad). This update should keep config.
  • Kodi-iOS (Legacy 32-bit) in 17.6-0 version : You can install this version on your old iPhone 5 with iOS 8. This package allow you to have Kodi 17.6 on any device with iOS 5.x (maybe), iOS 6.x, iOS 7.x and iOS 8.x
Thank you for your help!
