Default Directory for own Movie art?
#1
Hi all, I am adding Movies to Kodi and I prefer to add my own Poster art as opposed to using the Scraper art provided.

Is there any way I can set a Default Directory for Art in Kodi? I have to manually navigate every time to the folder where I put Posters.

Thanks in advance.

No

But you shouldn't need to be setting directories. If you save the artwork in the correct location, and name it correctly, Kodi will find it. The fact that you are asking for a folder indicates to me you are doing it wrong.

Browse through this page and look at the image, and you should figure out how it is done... https://kodi.wiki/view/Movie_artwork

Also, if you do have to use the Choose Art method, then click on *Item folder and it will jump you straight to the movie folder.
