can kodi plays full disc Dolby Vision or single layer DV rips ?

AFAIK only single layer .mp4 and .mov are supported so far.

I couldn't get Dolby vision to work even single layer , anything I should do to get it to work ?

I've used it on my Shield TV Pro and Kodi v19.
