v19 Channels DVR

Does the addon work remotely without using a VPN?  If so, what would I enter for CHANNELS DVR SERVER ADDRESS?  I have port forwarding setup.

This add-on no longer appears to work.  Any chance for an update?   Wink

Edit:  I did finally get it to work on Android after multiple attempts at the setup (and using the beta repo version).  I still can't get it to work on iOS, even without IPTV integration.

My beta repo has the latest updates... I don't see any issues with that build.

I got it working finally after dealing with inputstream.ffmpeg.direct.  I am still having issues with IPTVsimple.  ChannelsDVR doesn't seem to update epg.xml or playlist.m3u in service.iptv.manager even with a manual refresh.   I'll keep plugging away...

I can't seem to get IPTVsimple integration to work on Android, iOS or TVOS.   The channels list and guide never populate.  I can't see any indication in the logs that Channels DVR ever saves the m3u or xml for IPTVmanager or IPTV simple to load.  Using your beta repo.

Hello.  It seems a few months have past since the last post.  Is this add-on still supported?  I have it installed on Kodi but all I get is "Something went wrong please check settings"?  I dont know what to do.  Any insights are welcome.  Thanks.

I never could get this add-in to work properly.   You can use the IPTV Simple add-in and use "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8089/devices/ANY/channels.m3u" for the channel and "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8089/devices/ANY/guide/xmltv" for the guide.  Obviously xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the actual IP address for the Channels DVR.  You can also force a TS stream with "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8089/devices/ANY/channels.m3u?format=ts" for the channel m3u.

Channels also has an add-in at http://kodi.getchannels.com, (add the url as a source and then add the repository).

Yes, ChannelsDVR offers a PVR backend for Kodi however, it's usually behind the latest development branch.

This plugin was an attempt to fill the gap and also provide an alternative to using the PVR backend ie. a standard Kodi plugin interface.

I'll look into your issue... I haven't personally used the plugin for a while so perhaps something is broken.

::Update::
The plugin is functioning as expected, no issues experienced. Please make sure you have the latest version installed via my BETA repo.A log is required for further debugging. THX

I spotted a potential issue, I'll push a fix tonight.
