Solved Digital Devices Add-On
#1
Hello,

hopefully there will be a new Add-On for Kodi 19 from Digital Devices soon?

It would be very nice!

Are there any possibilities that someone could create an add-on of Digital Devices?

@User101xy

It would help if you provide links to whatever the site/service is.

Moved to addon requests.

Digital Devices was an Add-On on Kodi 18.

It is for use of DVB-C IP-TV Tuner. Also watching DVB-C (TV) on PC or Mac.

Hope that helps....

Presumably you mean the Octopus Net PVR addon?

If so I think they maintain it rather than us, but it appears to be in the Matrix repo, at least from that wiki page.

Thank you for your answer!

Yes.. this is, the add-on what i mean.

Does it mean, that it would be available in the next Kodi-Version?

Thanks for understanding... :-)

According to the wiki entry yes, it's available for Matrix.

I don't have a functional Matrix install available, so I can't directly confirm.

Thank you!

Unfortunately I didn't find it under Matrix.

Could you please help me?

It would be under PVR Clients on OS platforms that support online install (Windows, macOS, Android)

@User101xy - Easier to confirm which OS you're actually running?

As @emveepee rightly says, it will be under PVR clients in the official repo. On some OS's you will find them all pre-installed by disabled (you just need to enable it), others need to have them installed from the repo.

The only exception is under Linux, where they need to be added outside Kodi via apt (see Ubuntu PVR add-ons (wiki)).

Hi there!

Thank you for your answer!

I am running Windows 10 20H2, also MacOS Catalina.

I have installed pre-release Kodi Matrix.

In the screenshot, hope you can see, which Add-ons are available.

But nowhere i can see, a Digital Devices Add-on (PVR) (Octopus NET PVR).

Ps. Unfortunally i wasn´t able to attache a screenshot....

You should also be using a current nightly the installer has been going through lots of updates.   In general alphas are not going to be more stable then nighties.
