v19 Testing required for IPTV Timeshift feature for Enigma2
#1
Can any users who use IPTV via their enigma2 boxes test this PR: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.vuplus/pull/301

Testbuilds here:
https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts

It's supposed to allow timeshift for IPTV streams using the inputstream.ffmpegdirect addon but as I don't use IPTV via my box as I can't test it.

Dear phunkyfish,

I'm the founder of Open Vision: https://github.com/OpenVisionE2

I've been asked to contact you about https://kodi.wiki/view/Enigma2 but I didn't find your mail.

I did update the wiki page with some information which hope you like/aprove.

If you need any kind of help or you want something to be added to official OpenWebIf (or our fork of it) or OpenPLi's enigma2 (or our enigma2) just let me know.

We at Open Vision support more than 300 enigma2 models so let me know if we could help this project in any way.

Regards,
Persian Prince

Great to meet you @persianpros!

I saw your updates, thanks very much for them, and I sent you an email. jbleyel from OpenWebIf has been pretty good about implementing features over the last two years.

I wanted to ask if you had done much testing with Kodi 19 and the Enigma2 addon. I have feedback from users on a few images but nothing from OpenVision yet. It would be good to sign that off before Kodi 19 is released Wink

Also, there appears to be a memory leak when accessing recordings across the images. I've had confirmation of it on OpenPLi, OpenATV and OpenVix.

https://github.com/E2OpenPlugins/e2openp...issues/751
https://github.com/openatv/enigma2/issues/1026

I had a look at the MovieList.py but I'm afraid I don't have much python foo so did not get anywhere with a fix. Is this something you could look at? I can reproduce the leak easily so I can test any fixes. It's somewhere in the GUI stuff according to jbleyel.

Hello,

I would like to try this addon. I am using a Windows PC and there are no instructions on how to make the addon when using Windows PC.
Regards.

You don’t need to make anything. Just install the addon from the addon browser in kodi.
