Does it populate the images after selecting “Refresh”?  If not, you’ll probably need to reproduce the issue and submit a set of logs with LibcURL library logging enabled.

If your next question is “Is there a way to have it scrape and update all of the images automatically?”, I don’t believe there is.

hi.
obviously i'm a total noob, i'm sorry in advance, but i couldn't find the info page with the "refresh" button. Sad i checked the basic control page (https://kodi.wiki/view/Basic_controls) tried to hold the "ok" button, but nothing happened. i started an episode which was missing the pictures, i found the "info" on the right side corner, but there were no refresh button there either.
i know, it's probably my bad, or it's because the remote control is a samsung default one. idk.
anyway.. i enabled the web control and browsed for the show which i was missing the pictures for, tried to look for the "refresh" and found it on the shows page under the more button.

there. Smile
after hitting "show and episodes" it said it will remove the show and re add it, and that did the trick.

i just wrote this down, because it might help others as well.

thanks for your support Smile

however at least i have the pictures for the shows now.

Don’t sweat it. I’m no expert on Kodi, myself. But I’ll try and help you out as much as I can.

Although I don’t have a Samsung TV, I believe their remotes have the directional (up, down, left, right) buttons on them. Is there a button inside those directional buttons on your Samsung remote?  It’s likely going to be the “Select”, “Enter”, or “Action” button.  It may not actually be labelled on your remote though. So what you want to do is use the directional buttons to highlight a movie that is missing the poster image. Once highlighted, press and hold the middle “Select” button for about 3 seconds. A menu should appear and you should see “Information” as one of the options on that menu. Select “Information”. That should bring up details about the movie such as a summary of the movie, the list of actors/actresses, etc.  At the bottom of that screen are some options such as “Play”, “Trailer”, “Your Rating”, etc. With the directional buttons, go to the bottom of the screen til one of those options are highlighted. Then go right until you see “Refresh”. Select “Refresh”. It will ask you if you want to refresh from the internet. Select “Yes”. Select the appropriate movie when it performs the scrape. At this point, it should populate the images for that movie. You will need to do this for every movie that is missing the artwork though.

Hope that works for you.
