I have been running Kodi on Windows PC and Android tablet, connecting to NextPVR on the PC, recording shows and watch various video files.

I'm looking to purchase a new TV and thinking about running Kodi on an Android TV.  How do I set up PVR on Android TV (for recording)?  Can it run in the background (without TV screen turned on)?

What features do I need to look for?  And models to recommend?

1. Internal flash storage -- what's the minimal?
2. RAM, what's the minimal?
3. External storage (format, size, speed, etc)?
4. Anything else?
