I fixed my problem by deleting simplecache.db. I'm running Skin Helper Service v1.1.39 and Metadata v1.0.41.

Unfortunately it won't work. Did a fresh install and copied the advancedsettings.xml from another machine as I use mysql. Occassionally a movieset studio logo will show but thats it. I see these errors in the log ERROR <general>: DoWork - Direct texture file loading failed. Still think this is possibly a mysql issue but not sure

So I tested removing the advancedsettings.xml and a smaller library and it works. Something isn't right when its a mysql setup

There are some areas that are not functional yet...still waiting on some Add-ons to be updated for Matrix.

Installation Guide
 1. Install my repo (https://holybid.com/kodi/lattsrepo/maste....lattsrepo)
 2. Install the Marcelveldt repo (https://github.com/kodi-community-addons...-1.0.3.zip)
 3. Install Skin Helper Service from the Marcelveldt repo (located in Context Menus)
 4. Install ExtendedInfo Script from my repo (located in Program add-ons)
 5. Install Aeon MQ 8 for Matrix from my repo (located in Look and Feel > Skin)
 6. When you access Skin Settings, Kodi will prompt you to install the Skin Helper Service Colorpicker add-on.
 7. While you are in Skin Settings, scroll down to Add-ons. This will show the installation status of additional add-ons that MQ 8 uses. Select "Install All Add-ons Now (Selective Mode)" and you can choose one at a time which add-ons you would like to install.
 8. Install the optional Add-ons below...

Optional Add-ons (Some available to install from my repo)
Skin download (For those who would like to manually download the skin)
Aeon MQ 8 Matrix Mod v1.0.1.4

A few notes...
 • The skin includes the latest updates that were posted in the Aeon MQ 8 Multi-Mod thread.
 • The Skin Helper Service is not 100% yet...it continues to be updated for Matrix.
 • The Video Info screen will now display Sets info. There is still room for improvement with this new feature of the skin.

My bad,

I'm using a Odroid N2 running latest CoreElec version 9.2.8 (Stable) and assumed that this was Matrix and it seems not. I have to use the '19.2-Matrix_rc3' beta version. Hence why it probably isn't showing the Matrix versions and also why I can't get Artwork Dump to install.

Cheers anyway for the advice!

@latts9923 I'm trying to get all the coloured icons to show correctly on the dialogue page. Most of them show if the filename contains the relevant info. An example of how I label my files is:

moviename (year).2160p.hevc.hdr.10bit.atmos.8ch.mkv

I cannot get the video resolution icon to show 4K Ultra HD no matter what I put in the filename. I've tried '4k', 'uhd'. However the fact that 2160p is in the filename then it should work.

Is there anyway we can link the '2160p' in the filename to the 4K resolution icon along with the 'UHD Bluray' icon in audio codec?

I would be grateful if you could point me to the relevant XML files like 'include variables' so that I can see what I filenames I should use in order to get the correct aspect ratio, audio codec. resolution etc. Thanks!

Hi there,
I had very much the same issue as you. After much tinkering with video filenames, I eventually came across a solution that works for me.
In the folder .kodi/addons/resource.images.resolution.color/resources/ I had to capitilise the 'K' in the 4K.png filename for the icon to appear.
Hope this helps.

Anyone know of a way to rearrange the context menu in the video info window? To me it makes more sense to have either the play button on the far left or the play button change to resume if the the movie/tv show has already been started but not finished. Is there a plugin or something that i can install to change this?

I know that resume functionally does the same thing as play...but it does not make sense to me to "resume" if I'm watching a new movie or tvshow that i haven't watched yet.

Look in IncludesVariables.xml for ""audiocodec". I can add a '2160p' to the resolution to display the 4K icon. You can add the UHD Bluray icon to the audiocodec flags, but you would need to add a unique extension like ".audiouhd.".

@Shredder_guitar
That's a good idea. I can make the play button be displayed first. It will be a while before I can release another update, so if you want to move it yourself now open DialogVideoInfo.xml and find...
xml:

<control type="list" id="149">
<visible>![Container.Content(sets) | ListItem.IsCollection]</visible>

Underneath that, find...
xml:

31700
<onclick>SendClick(2003,8)</onclick>

Move that above...
xml:

13404
<onclick>SendClick(2003,9)</onclick>
