Release HBO Max
Your best to open an issue on Inputstream Adaptive GitHub I think

Even if it only breaks h265 streams on HBO_Max? Because on other addons, Netflix and Amazon, h265 streams work OK, same as with old version.

in the quality pop-up, select "Bypass". If it still crashes when using that - then seems to be something in inputstream adaptive

For me that's not true. The Disney+ addon also doesn't work anymore. And in the Netflix addon, the video starts, but Dolby Vision is not triggered on the TV, so the colors are off (the green & purple effect).

I can't help but feeling that all the addons that use InputStream Adaptive need to be updated. If you look at the amount of changes in version 20.2.0, the list is pretty huge and I think it broke a lot off addons.

Could be already fixed

Selecting "Bypass" starts h264 stream; pausing the stream and from list of streams selecting any h265 stream crashes Kodi...

As mentioned, I tested only 1080p h265 streams; don't know about DV, but it's now certain that new IA in Nexus is the cause of my problem.

Try the build posted here
https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adaptive/issues/964

@matthuisman I tried that build, but it didn't fix any of the issues I have with the HBO Max, Disney+ and Netflix addons unfortunately.

Your probably best to open a bug at IA repo then. Mention Netflix as one of the main contributors to IA is Netflix addon dev

@Sholander please try this build:
https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts

if still crash please fill an issue here:
https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adaptive/issues
by providing also the stream manifest of played video (looks at kodi debug log at downloaded mpd or m3u8 file and attach it to post)

Installed this build as suggested and the result is the same as with initial 20.0.2 build: HBO_Max h265 1080p streams crush Kodi 20a on my Firestick 4k (FOS6.2.8.1 - Android 7.1.1)

Will try tonight to get debug log, but first have to find out how to go about it on FS...

Hey guys in case I'm not talking to the same two people on the GitHub issue, I'm trying a process of elimination to get to the bottom of this.

Test builds and explanation here if you're interested: https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adap...1125934207

FYI for those who don't follow GitHub: both the Dolby Vision issue and the H.265 crash issue have been fixed. Not sure when the new build will be published officially, but the temporary fix for InputStream Adaptive is here:

I get "HTTP ERROR 404 Not Found". Any other source for this fix?
