TMM v4 Docker Install
#1
Hello! I would love to purchase and use TMM v4, but need to install via docker to do so.  Has this process been enabled yet? If so, can someone point me to the v4 docker image or how to install via docker?

Here's v3 as reference: https://github.com/romancin/tinymediamanager-docker

Thank you!

Docker is not in our ToDo list - I just know that there is the github repository you have mentioned above.

I also know that there is the framework called webswing (https://www.webswing.org/) where you can theoretically move any swing UI into the web.. maybe it would not be too much work to adopt the tmm release for docker? But I am afraid that my docker experience is far not good enough to do that myself

EDIT: just saw that webswing is commercial too now - so I am afraid that (until we may switch to a web based UI - IF ever) docker support will be hard to achieve.. but maybe the repository above gives us a hint how to do that? I may have a look in the XMAS holidays

Did you try to alter TMM_VERSION and TMM_URL in the Dockerfile of this repo?!
Maybe that is all you need to run v4, as the other files doesn't seem to contain any version dependencies.

@mlaggner The linked repo just opens a VNC port. This way you can connect with a VPN client and access the swing GUI. So no web UI involved  Wink
