Then I go again to Settings, Amber Settings, Backgrounds, Set Default Background, Single:
As you can see, I changed it twice without any issues. Do you get an error message of some kind? If not, and this is not working, I would need to see a debug log. If you do send a debug log, please change the Kodi language to English before capturing the debug log, so I will be able to understand any messages in the log. Thanks.

@slawomir, embuary helper is excellent. I use it for the backgrounds and info lines for my menu items that are playlists. I also use it to jump directly to a TV show or a season in the video info dialog for episodes.
