IMDB scrapper not matching/scraping movies - TMM 2.9.17.1
#1
I know this is an old version but I got all the settings perfect for my purposes and was not keen on having to start fresh on TMM v3 (if there is an easy migration process someone can show me I would be interested in moving over).

I'm fine with its features to stay on TMM 2.9.17.1 but if it is going to lose its compatibility then please let me know if I need to learn TMM v3 or even v4?

I have unticked "filterunwatedcatagories" and still no luck. It seems to be more recent releases so it makes me suspect it could be to do with the 8 character IMDB code issue that was resolved in V3 the but then some recent films successfully scrape so I am unsure.

Some examples of recent titles that do not scape would be:

Fat Fiction
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11055922

The Wolf of Snow Hollow
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11140488

Locked Down
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13061914

My current workaround is to manually scape on TMDB but I prefer most of the IMDB data, especially the ratings so this is not a viable workaround.

Can anyone help? I know I'm asking a bit being on an older version but it would be great to get an idea on what the issue is here and if it can be fixed?

you are right - that may probably come from the length change of the IMDB Id... But there have been so many changes since tmm v2 - it could be anything else too Wink

Since Kodi and the metadata providers change their structure from time to time it is always a good idea to stay up to date. The area tmm works in is not static, but always _in change_

Thanks for the reply, is there a tutorial or walkthrough on how to transition and re-do your settings from TMM v2 to v3 you may be able to point me to?

Would scanning my current database in have any affects or make any changes to my data?

or would it hopefully just lift the data from the .nfo files and scan it into the library.
