Release Full bluray and 4k uhd bluray menu support for Android
#46
Thanks!

The 32bits ARM version works like a charm in my Amlogic S912 TV Box (Mecool BB2). In fact it works better than the Windows version (no mess with the controls).

Any word on a 19.1 version?

Sorry but I'll not be able to keep it up to date as soon as a new .1 version is released.

I'll try to bump it when something very significative for the end user shows up.

But as many gave the advice time to sleep ia gold now LoL.

Did the BD-J menus work for you as well with 19.1? I've installed 19.1 and although the Java Environment Addon that Fandangos posted does install, I still get the BD-J error message.

You need both the addon and the apk for it to work.

There are a few changes in Kodi to make this happen.

I thought I'd say that I've rolled back to v19 and used your APK and add-on and I'm blown away - thank you so much for getting the menu support working on the Shield Pro!!

Man I hate to ask this, but can someone provide very basic detailed step by step instructions on how to load this version of kodi, and the extras required to get BD-J menus to work?  Thanks in advance!

the java addon gives me an error when starting kodi, or have I tried to reload it and it always gives me an error, all this with the version of fandangos. only happens to me?

Tested 32bits version on a Sony Android TV AG9 and it works almost perfect.
There is still some lag on some Universal menus (like Jaws and back to the future).
Do you see any improvements in updating to libbluray 1.3.0 ?
Thanks for your work (from Portugal)

@fandangos
I'm trying to make my own version with your version of libbluray.

But I get errors at the end of the build process.
See: https://paste.kodi.tv/asajumeluj

Do you have any advise?

This error has nothing to do with any changes I made.

My advice for compiling libbluray is:

Build the dependencies as you normally would.
Go into the zip file kodi downloaded and just edit the files you need to.
Use make dist clean on libbluray to remove what was compiled.

Compile again.

My git is only to show the changes needed, don't use it as the entire libbluray.
Use the one Kodi uses and add the changes.

what about the shield? Am I doing this correctly that I also have to install something on the shield? Under 18 the whole thing worked without any additional addons
