Suggestion - Include Enconding information to know if it is a BDRemux or not

I have learn recently that doing a mediainfo to any movie, there is a way to know if it is a Remux or a file that has been compresed with some enconding setting.

In the Mediainfo, video information, you can find something like this....
-  If it is a Remux, generating a mkv file just from the blueray, with original quality, we won't see the "Enconding Settings" information, since there is none
-  However, if it has had any encoding, to compress the movie, it will appear that information.

Right now, we can only know about video bitrate in TMM, but it is not enough to know if a movie has had enconding or not.

I will suggest to include in some field in TMM the posibility to know about this, just to be able to classify movies to know if they are truly a BDRemux or not.

Good morning, 

I have realized than the information I am looking for it is contained in the xml file that TMM generates in v4 with mediainfo of the movie / episode scanned into library.

I am just wondering if:
1.  It can be included in some where in TMM so we can filter movies with compression or no compression
2.  We can export that information with a template, accessing to information stored in xml

well the encoding information is put in there by the encoding lib you used... and IIRC every lib has its own _style_ there, so this is nothing we can "globally" use for anything useful.

I might have explain myself incorrectly.  I really don't want to include in TMM the encoding information, since as you said, could be really different.

What I want, it is just some place where it says:

Has encoding settings?  Yes or Not

Because what I have realized, it is that a BDRemux has that field empty, but anything that has been "manipulated" to generate a MicroHD or whatever, has information on that field.

That way, instead of showing the encoding information in itself, I just would like TMM to be able to tell us if that field is empty (which means it is probable a Remux) or has information on it (whatever information), and in consequence it is not a Remux.

Do you think that could be done?  Or you don't find it is interesting enough to include it on TMM?
