Actually I don't think you did. You needed to remove the requirement for that addon from addon.xml file in the skin. If you don't remove it, the skin will fail to install. I have commented out that requirement, so the skin will install.
That is probably where you got stuck.

No. Click on the Free Download button.

I see the site has changed a bit since I last used.
After you select Free Download, from the pop us select Slow Speed then ignore all the stuff about free account. The download should then start in a few seconds.
I'll try to find another site that doesn't bombard you with advertising.

While I still use Kodi DSPlayer (stuck at 17.6), missing Transparency was one of the things holding me back Although I must admit that Amber can be good once setup correctly. But the fanart view of Transparency! remains unparalleled.

For what it's worth, I used your link, clicked twice (free download and then slow download) and I did not have any problem downloading it.

I did click the download link, but nothing happened, so I thought I had to register. Turns out the download was failing for some unknown reason. I rebooted and everything worked. Thanks.

Start Kodi and try again.

I am using a Nvidia Shield and as far as i know there are no file managers open.
