I have an Eye-Fi card in my digital camera that automatically uploads pictures from the SD card to a local computer over wifi. I'd like to use the Slideshow feature in XBMC to monitor this folder (SMB share) and continually refresh (ever x seconds) the folder so that new pictures get constantly picked up and displayed in the slideshow.
I'd be willing to make a donation to an individual or the XBMC community for the completion of this script.

Just got an Eye-Fi card myself, and this feature would be really neat!
Personally i'm using the ubuntu version, and would not need the smb share support, as i store the pictures directly to my ubuntu computer.

Found this post looking for the same feature. My wife and I host parties and it would be nice to have the slideshow auto-refresh after each loop.
