Hello,

I am having an issue where kodi refuses to scan one folder/season and I can't understand why. They seam properly named and follow the same order as IMDB and nothing abnormal shows up in the logs. FYI I use kodi 19 on debian testing.

Here are the file names / permissions:

That's why there is a debug log (wiki) that you can provide, via a pastebin website.
Filenames is one thing, handling them is another.

First season: all dots.
Third season: no dots.
Just an observation.

Check the episode count at IMDB. Season 1 = 10 episodes, Season 2 = 10 episodes, Season 3 = 10 episodes
TMDB has Season 1 = 20 episodes, Season 2 = 10 episodes...

You'll need to rename/renumber your episodes accordingly.

Hello,

Well I had kodi on an android box but with Kodi 19 I had all sorts of issues. Since I have a few Windows 10 mini pc's gathering dust I installed Fedora and kodi 19 on one but once in awhile kodi would crash opening a menu. An now I am on debian testing / kodi 19 and it still crashes in a menu once in awhile, since it rarely happened and its a known issues I didn't change my setup again expecting a probable fix with the next update. Also there's +- 50 000 videos in my Kodi database and this season is pretty much the only thing that refuses to scan...

I removed the show, cleaned the database, scanned the folder to library, it still only adds season one and two: here is the log pastebin

It gets better... TIL that apparently TMDB now also applies Netflix-type 'episode groups', which has the 10 ep per season.
