Making channel logos permanent
#1
Hello,

For most of my TV channels, the channel logo is correct, and permanent, i.e. they survive Kodi restarts.
Some channels are missing a logo, or have a wrong logo (f.e. BBC First gets Baby Channel as logo).
When I use the Kodi channel manager to assign the correct logos, that works, but after a restart of Kodi (for whatever reason), the old logos reappear, and the missing logos are again missing.

How can I make the logos persist?

TIA,

Bart

Hmm... Although this is possibly a solution, it does not really answer my question. My question was about Kodi and possibly the DVBviewer addon.

But thanks anyway!

Don't know. Might be a bug in Kodi. The addon always transfers the assigned logo URLs, as the addon does not (and cannot) know about any locally overwritten logos.

I tried to do it in DVBviewer. It tells me that I have to do it in Media Server. There it simply does not work.
I will take this over to the DVBviewer forum.

I did not yet find the time to report this in the DVBviewer forum.
However, in the mean time, Kodi 19.1 appeared, and now the changes I make in the Kodi channel manager are persistent.
So maybe a bug in Kodi after all.
