Hi, can anyone confirm if they themselves have successfully enabled TRUE HD ATMOS. If your AVR displays and decodes Atmos from your windows PC via hdmi I’d love to know definitively if it’s possible.

Yes, so in system, settings, Audio go down to passthrough.

Now this where i was having trouble,
DIRECTSOUND does not have True-HD support. You need to set it to WASAPI and your sound device and select all the formats your AVR / Soundbar supports.
Nothing needs to be changed in windows as it sort bypasses windows.
To get Atmos in windows videos and games I think you need the Atmos codec for 9.99 but i just used the AAF modified Audio drivers (not related to Kodi)
Edit: yes, Atmos is displayed on my Soundbar, from a RTX3080
