Hi,

I have a rasbperry pi 4 with 4 GB. I have openhabian installed, which is based on raspbian. I installed Kodi v18.7. I also have a cd plugged to the raspberry pi, indirectly, through a powered usb hub. DVDs work pretty well. However, audio CDs take a long time to start playing, around 1.5 minutes. During that time:
- Kodi freezes
- RAM remains below 20%
- CPU is below 5% usually, with spikes up to 30%

Once the audio starts I can jump between tracks with no trouble, it is just the initial load that freezes kodi.

Any idea how to improve audio start time?
I don't use user pi. My user is in the following groups:  openhab adm tty dialout cdrom sudo audio video plugdev games users input netdev bluetooth gpio i2c spi openhabian
