Hi
i have kodi 18.9 on win 7 using Aeon Mq8 skin.
How can I set the music up so that when a track is played it is marked.
Also to select only unplayed tracks.
And how do you give a rating a simple like/ dislike.

Music does not get "marked as played" as such, it just has playcount. Obviously playcount > 0 means it has been played.
You will have to ask Aeon Mq8 skin questions in the subforum or thread for that skin variant.
To select only unplayed songs use a filter or smart playlist with rule that checks playcount > 0

You seem to be asking questions while mentioning both Aeon Mq8 and Estuary. Not sure if perhaps you're undecided which skin to go with, so thought I'd mention Play Count was added to some of the view in Estuary for v19, I've not idea Aeon Mq8 displays Play Count anywhere.

I used a playlist to sort unplayed songs.
Also a playlist to sort best songs by rating. Using a Media Monkey very easy to apply rating.
